- Wiener Secession
The exhibition building for contemporary art was built in 1897/98 by Joseph Maria Olbrich. The Secession, is one of the most important works of art of the Viennese Art Nouveau. On display is the Beethoven Frieze designed by Gustav Klimt as well as contemporary art exhibitions.

For Nature Enthusiasts
- Wiener Prater
A spacious recreation area (near Messe Wien) with extensive meadows and forests through which the 4.4-kilometre-long main avenue between Praterstern and Lusthaus runs. The Prater also stands, of course, for the amusement park located at its north-western tip. It is the location of the famous Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel. From our conference location it is only a few minutes' walk to the greenery of the Prater.
